Having visited the Leeds Digital Job Fair 2.0 whilst in second year, it seemed more fitting to revisit the event whilst in third year as there are much more opportunities for students coming to the end of their course. Having prior experience also allowed me to be more prepared this time around, I took several printed CV's with a better overview of credentials which would be desirable at many of these companies.
The CV allowed me to open dialogue freely with many of the company stalls, and gave me the opportunity to leave something tangible with the company to help them remember my details. The company 'Zeal' seemed genuinely interested in my skill set and had places open within their workforce, I received their contact details and intend to follow this opportunity up further to try to find a possible placement.
