Once I had used the 3D printing facilities at Leeds Beckett, I brought the individual shapes back to the metal work department to start building the maquette. Each piece needed to be sanded down and glued together to then be applied onto a foam board. The physical result helps to demonstrate how the finished version would construct and interconnect. This extended work for the responsive brief will not only give me a higher chance of winning, but has also furthered my development as a working professional allowing me to operate a broader range of skills with the knowledge of 3D printing software.
