For this day brief we got put into small groups and were briefed to create a independent magazine design to present to the class. After some initial ideas with my group, I brought up the idea of developing my 'Diversity' magazine from OUGD404 which never got used. Our group decided to use the base of this magazine to develop further which was a great chance for my individual work to then get group input and feedback from my peers. It was also great to get feedback from the rest of the class from presenting on aspects such as which cover design they liked best. The concept behind the publication was to inform travellers on diverse cultures and locations around the world and will be distributed inside hostels and airports.
This day brief has given me an opportunity to revisit a brief which has already finished and approach the development stage in a unique way with other class mates input. I found this an important experience for working in the industry in a design studio space as I will more than likely never work on a brief by myself in my whole graphic design career.
